Kantos Chamber Choir’s Delphian debut is an ambitious reimagining of the choral album as a single, immersive dreamscape.

Drifting from the profound to the playful, the familiar to the surreal, In Your Dreams weaves together music, poetry and sonic fragments to explore sleep’s many dimensions. Kantos and its artistic director Ellie Slorach have together built a reputation for boundary-pushing projects where concert programming meets theatrical storytelling: here, Shakespeare and Poe sit alongside Whitacre and Vaughan Williams, lullabies dissolve into subconscious murmurs and nonsense songs take on a dream logic of their own.

The choir’s distinctive sound, shaped in Manchester’s vibrant vocal scene, finds new expressive extremes in a journey through the uncharted territory between waking and sleeping, sound and silence, sense and mystery.
